People with lower attention spans have lower memory and decreased productivity. Besides the decreasing attention span and desensitization of brain mainly it steals your data and sell it to Chinese Intelligence which is way more worse. Since there is a lot of tension between USA and China this is very important to avoid giving data of individuals in States to Chinese Intelligence. Which can be an upper hand to China if the tensions grew and lead to a war. The Fentanyl Crisis and TikTok are majorly connected too. As TikTok acts as a marketplace for dr*g sellers and buyers.
